Yoga is a wonderful practice to open your eyes to possibilities.
My courses are mainly influenced by the original Vinyasa Flow and Yoga Therapy. I always adapt to the individual levels of the students, with a focus on alignment and correct execution.
Here, among other things, the "Powerhouse" - the muscle groups in the middle of the body around the spine and pelvic floor - is specifically strengthened. At the same time conscious breathing also plays an important role. This systematic training improves your posture and automatically makes you a better everyday athlete. Curious? Try it!
AcroYoga is a partner training that combines acrobatic elements with yoga, on the ground and in the air. You start with the basics and then try together more demanding acrobatic postures.
Come with or without a training partner; the teams are formed locally. There are no prior knowledge required!
In my lessons it is especially important to me to teach authentically.
Yoga should also be fun! And rattling all the asanas (poses) is not my style. Apart from my humorous hours, a precise orientation is very important to me. I approach each of my students individually. I look closely at the joint position and posture to give optimal support. On request, I also like to deepen the yogic philosophy, explain the many advantages of various breathing techniques and meditations in our class and how you can use them in everyday life.
I have almost 10 years experience in teaching and different movement areas. Starting with dance and acrobatics, I finally found yoga. I have trained as a Hatha and Vinyasa teacher in India and NRW. In addition, I have trained AcrobatikYoga, short AcroYoga in Vienna and Berlin and I am a certified Pilates trainer. Currently I am with Dr. Günther Niessen and Ganesh Mohan in a three-year training as a yoga therapist and let much of the expertise flow into my classes. I'm teaching as a permanent trainer in the Adidas RunBase in Berlin-Kreuzberg and in SohoHouse in Berlin-Mitte.
What sets me apart from other yoga teachers?
Unlike many teachers who teach part-time, I am a full-time yoga teacher and well versed in this subject. In addition, I continue to educate myself every year and have a lifelong experience in the body and movement area.
